Human Trafficking Awareness Month

Join Work of Worth as we highlight Human Trafficking Awareness Month.  National Human Trafficking Awareness Day is January 11th, and is symbolized by a blue heart.  As such, we've curated a collection of items you can purchase to join us for #WearBlueDay.

What exactly is human trafficking?

The United Nations states that "Human Trafficking is the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of people through force, fraud or deception, with the aim of exploiting them for profit. Men, women and children of all ages and from all backgrounds can become victims of this crime, which occurs in every region of the world. The traffickers often use violence or fraudulent employment agencies and fake promises of education and job opportunities to trick and coerce their victims."

WoW exists to empower these individuals to escape the chains of human trafficking across the globe.  Purchase any item on our site, use the hashtag #WearBlueDay, or share one of our social media posts to help support these efforts.
